Please urgent advice needed! Tranny issues

i have a transmission problem on my 2010 E350, Transmission do a automatic P' mode at a speed less than 6km each time i slow down. I did a tranny flush and tranny reset couple of times . My Technician had to take the valve body out today and check the solenoids/valves to see if the internal component is failing, Same problem still persist.
what is the likely problem? what would anyone suggest. Do i need a new tranny?

Best regards

P.S error codes is never stored on the system memory

I think the following thread describes your issue and hopefully a solution. Good luck and keep us posted. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w212...o-park-no.html

Haven't heard of this before. Sorry to hear of your trouble. Switching to P mode automatically reminds me of what happens when you open the driver door when stopping or moving slowly with keyless go. But obviously you would know if you door is ajar. Seems like it is an issue with the electronic shifter module but haven't seen issues with that myself.

Too many german broads
Possibly. How miles on the car?

We are now starting to see W212's developing tranny issues since many are getting up there in mileage.

I have 68k miles on the car. What do you think the problem might be ? If it is an electronic shifter module problem wont there be error code or something? Where will the culprit module be, inside the tranny ?

It just seems like some component is telling the tranny that it should be in park. Unfortunately hard to know what this is. Hopefully someone will chime in.

Any more specifics? Does it happen every time you are driving below 6 mph? What about in reverse or when you are driving slow on a driveway or parking lot?

does it mean you come to a "full stop" every time your car hits 6km below speed?

no error code ever showed up?

Sounds like the car thinks the driver's door is open. I'd check that sensor first.

yes the car hits a scary full stop on speeds below 6km/hr. I have to shift it out of P mode to D to make it move again

unfortunately we havent been able to diagnose what the problem is. To answer your question it happen mostly when car is a bit warmed up, i mean the chances of this happening when the weather is hot or engine is warmer is higher.
Yes it happen in reverse too and also slow on a drive way, so far it is on a speed quite below 6km
