2012 E350 Strange Thumping/Pulsing
Hello All,
My used new to me 2012 e350 (CPO) has a strange thumping or pulsing that you can feel in the break or gas pedal. It seems to happen shortly after startup when initially taking off or stopping shortly after initial start. Like going from my garage to the street, about 100 feet. It does not happen on normal driving after that. It's like 6-10 thumps/pulses like ABS charging though, yes, I can feel it in either the gas or brake pedal. Anyone have this issue?

My new-to-me 2012 E350 does this too, don't know what it is. Just like you, it only happens once right after I start driving, about 3-5 thumps in a row in quick succession. The driver below caught it on video. One of the comments says that it comes from the ESP system doing a self check which sounds reasonable. At any right, I'd be more worried about it if it were a constant thumping.
