Random Engine Shutoff

Random Engine Shutoff
I have a 2013 e350, the other day I stepped on the gas and it felt like the car went into limp mode. No Sevice lights came on. Kept driving car and while sitting in traffic it shutoff and all the lights came on. Turned the car off and it started back up.
I took the the car to the dealership, they didn't see any fault codes but did a software flash. Two days later, I pulled out of a parking lot and the car shut off again.
Dealer said the car still showed no fault codes. Is anyone else experiencing power loss? I have one month left on warranty. Dealer kept car over the weekend to see if they could replicate.

Does it sound like the car is bogging down and then shutting off or simply shutting off out the blue? Any issues restarting the car after one of these episodes?

The first time it happened I was hard excelerating, it felt like the car went into limp mode. My Initial thought was transmission. There was no bog down prior to shut off. I've read quite a few people with similar problems in the C class.

The car restarted perfectly fine each time with no hesitation.

At first i thought this may be electrical but that is not the case. For good measure to check if it is not bad gas as thenew3 suggested I would run the tank dry and put some fresh stuff in there. Try to find a high octane for good measure. If that proves no good check the fuel line system, fuel pump, fuel filter and your fuel pressure. I had a 3 series that had a very similar problem and it ended up being my fuel pump. it started out slowing down/limp mode like you described, then eventually progressed into shutting down, restarting was fine for a short while and then that went away too it would me a half hour to start the car.
