2nd blower motor
2011 E350 4matic, P1 package.
At 1200 miles my blower motor failed. Replaced under warranty about Aug. 2011. 5 Years later and 67,900 miles it failed again.
$647.49 was the total cost to replace the 2nd one.
Anyone else have this problem?

2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Wow. I have never had a blower motor go bad on any vehicle I have owned.. Has to be a defect. Did you try contacting MBUSA? Not that it would do any good but worth the try.

Still on original motor with 70k+ miles. There is another thread on here where someone replaced theirs, but I wouldn't say it's common from what I have read.

2013 E350 4Matic
I had my blower replaced at 36k miles due to chirping noise at low speeds. It also only made the chirping noise at temps below 10F.
New Behr Blower motor can be bought online for $165-200 and it takes an hour to replace one. Stealership prices are unbelievable at $650.

It does. But considering how hard it is to slide the plastic tab holder over on the air filter, the blower motor may be a piece of cake

You know, I changed the cabin filter on my '14 E350 and it wasn't that hard. About 20 min. I did have to get on my back, but it wasn't that bad. The one on my wife's Volvo was infinitely worse.
