Just made a few calls to local MB dealers service dept.
B service is around $600, & A few are offering 15% off for military & veterans. Will try to see if they stack the $130 off that also...

Funny when I used a 10% off coupon at my dealer for the first time my SA said you're the 1st person to ever use a coupon here. I make sure every time I go to make sure I have all available coupons on hand. I'm not trying to make the rich even more rich at my expense
I also filled out for the $130 a couple of weeks back. I won't need a service before the end of January since I got my last Service B about a month ago.

Hey guys...I'm little confused about service B. I'm due for service B at 60k miles. I called my dealer and she quoted me $1200 for 60k service. Is service B the same as 60k service? Or is this just recommended service she wants me to do on top of service B? I included a pic of the doc she emailed me a few days ago. If you see there, spark plugs need to be replaced??

B service at my local dealers is the oil, cabin filter and all the checks, etc. They don't include brake fluid in that price because they recommend every 2 years regardless of miles. Plugs on your model (like my 2011) are due every 6y/60k so that isn't part of a normal B.
If you don't wrench it yourself and want to use the dealer, now is the perfect time to look into a 3 pack prepaid maintenance. For about the same cost ~$1,200, you will also get the 70k (just an A service) and 80k (B service plus brake and ATF). You could probably match that price at an indy or save it you DIY. Of course if you don't plan on keeping car for another 2y/20k then it's not worth it.
EDIT: Just saw that thenew3 posted the same prepaid maint. advice in response to you in another thread. Funny how we all start thinking alike.

I think the major part of that is the spark plugs. I think someone mentioned that on the M276 engine, you have to take off the intake manifold to get at the spark plugs and they use a multispark system which means the plugs can fire up to 5 times per cycle so I guess they could be worn out at 60k. The good and bad parts of a direct injection 302hp engine.

Well at this point, the 3 pack service plan is the only option for me. I'm in the market for a house this year so I'll be keeping my w212 for another 2 years.

be sure to check out the extended warranty forum. Those same finance folks sell prepaid maint. I bought my 3 pack over the phone out of state. Got a great price and no sales tax.

There was a registration for a $130 discount coupon on MB's site, but no one has gotten it yet so some think it might be a fake. Someone did call them and they said they're having vendor problems so maybe people will actually get it at some point.
