E350 4matic
Motor mounts

I'm having a bad vibration in my car and it's the mounts. Vehicle has 85K on the clock. I replaced the trans mount last year myself due to excessive vibration. It was fairly simple as I seen a tutorial on YouTube. It helped with a lot of the vibration. I called the dealer and asked for a price quote. They quoted me $1700. I've read that the engine mounts for the 4matic is much harder then the rwd. Is there any truth to this?
