Number of Spark Plugs
Hello! I am due for a spark plug change, but after googling I found out that you can either have 8 sparks or 16 sparks required. Does anyone know how many spark plugs I need for a 2010 Mercedes E550 4matic (Canada)?

To add there is a chance you'll need to replace your ignition coils as well. There are 8 of those also. I got myself into a pinch when I changed all of my spark plugs and only 2 coils. So just an heads up.

When I got the 1st two done, it was at an indy.
I subsequently had to replace 2 more on my own. It's is very easy. I'd say easier then the spark plugs. You literally just have to disengage a clip and remove two bolts and pull them out and replace. After doing it a couple of times, I think I'll always replace my plugs and coils on every car I get out of warranty going forward.
