W212 E250 CGI intermittent long cranking
Hi all,
Following a recent replacement of fuel pumps on my 2010 W212 E250 CGI, I have noticed
that about 4 out of 10 starts take longer than normal (about 4 seconds).
The car is under warranty, so I took it to Mercedes. They apparently reset something which
was meant to fix it, but as soon as I got home and tried to start it again, I noticed that the
long cranking issue had returned.
I will be taking it back soon. The battery tested OK. Mercedes is adamant that it is NOT due
to pump replacement, but I know that long cranks started immediately after that. Prior to
that, starts were perfect.
Any idea what could it be, please?

Thanks
Milo
