I wanted to change my factory grille to a E 63 S type grille which look much better i think. But right before i clicked Buy it Now, i remembered my front grille has a camera, and it looks like it is attached to the Mercedes emblem. Im guessing this is a no go right ? because im definetly not dismounting the camera front its fixed position.

yeah i checked everywhere and there is no grille with an opening for a camera nor do they address it in the description. Im pretty sure this is not a simple mod and would require taking out the camera and placing it back, so ill skip it.

I do like my grille but the E 63 version looks better in my opinion.

Oh well looky there. Did you install it yourself ? Because it seems like the camera is attached to the emblen so how do you take out the grille without taking out the camera and putting it back on ?

I didn't install myself, body shop did it for me.

I am not that handy, so I watched them do it...
My star emblem has got Disctronic sensors (radar) in the back.
So, bodyshop used my original one.

As i know they had to take off the star, also the camera.

Oh alright, i should probably do this mod in reverse instead of buying the grille yet. Ill find a body shop to take a look at the grille and the camera and explain to me the process and if its not to much of a hassle i will order the grille. It looks damn nice though, i love the way yours look.

I bet you the camera snaps into place with clips... wouldn't be surprised, with all the clips MB puts on our cars lol
