2011 E350 Bluetec
Hello from SW Mississippi
Hello All,
Just purchased a new to me 2011 E350 Bluetec for my wife. Although we both have been driving diesel powered vehicles for years, this is the first Mercedes.

It seems that Rotella-T is unsuitable for this engine, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which oil to use.

How do I determine whether or not the engine has a "particulate filter"?

Do a google search for MB bevo 229.51. IT will show you approved oil for diesels.

This is what i use... But mine E 250 so im not sure if its the same for the V6.

After disconnecting the air intake, the engine cover just pops off?
