2010 or 2009 E350 Buying?

Hello currently have an 2007 E350 with 221,000km, looking at an 2010 E350 4MATIC and i found one with only 99,000 km for only $17,800 CAD

but i see that it has mb tex and the wood is all faded

Do you think mercedes will do goodwill?

but at the same time you can get a 2009 E350 4MATIC for $15,000CAD
with the wood faded and trim has turned purple...
so stuck on the border

No, the car was built 7 years ago. The warranty for faded wood trim was covered under the new car warranty. Three years +- past warranty is a stretch IMO. I can't comment on the pano roof as I don't have one.

I have a pano roof on my e63 and it is not noisy. Sometimes it does creak on cold mornings.

hi. Would you rather have a sunroof instead? Is it worth it? Do you ever have problems with it like in terms of sunlight coming into the car?

oh. Do you ever find it colder in the morning because of the panoramic roof. Like it doesn't insulate the heat as well.

2014 E550-sold 😩
Why would a glass roof provide more cooling inside a car that has sat through the night? The inside temp of the car will be whatever the outside ambient temp is no matter a glass roof or steel. Your question is not logical. Plus the pano roof should help with solar gain and heat in the cold months.

The inside sunshade on my pano roof keeps out the direct sun very well and the car is not hot. Also on cool to cold sunny days I open the sun shade to get the warmth of the sun. So overall I like the pano roof better than a small sun roof. Oh, and kids in the back seat love to watch the rain on the roof with the shade open.

I have the pano in both cars and I like it. The noise can be loud. You have to take off the headliner in order to get at the bolts to get rid of the noise. Some just posted a video not too long ago on how to fix it and it's not that bad.

As others said, I don't notice if it hotter/colder. Climate control would take care of any issues with heat/cold. I like to leave the sunshade open also, feels more open when you drive around, but you only really notice it when checking blind your blind sides or backing up.

I love the Pano and it makes the car seem more spacious inside. Insulation isn't an issue but when it is cold you can have the shade back and let some sun in and it keeps it a little warmer inside.

The one thing I'd warn with the Pano is when you have it all the way open and it's sunny out. It can make yourself or your passengers uncomfortable since you're technically sitting in direct sunlight. 3 of my past 4 cars have had Pano and I've had multiple people be like close it please the sun is burning me LMAO

I hardly ever open it, usually just in the summer briefly to let all the hot air out.

If fading wood is the sticking point, get the estimate from MB and take it to that dealer. I am sure they will work with you and adjust the pricing accordingly.

I doubt it. The wood kit is around 3k plus labor at the dealer, probably around 4k so I doubt if they'll lower the price by 4k. You can get a used wood trim kit on eBay for around $230, but I think that one is still a bit faded.
