Dead Battery?

Hey guys,
I got this issues this morning. Looking to see I can get some help before I make the move to call the dealer. From what I read, looks like a dead battery. I didn't want to jump start it, thinking it could cause other issues. Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I've never seen that before. I don't have speakers at my current location so I couldn't hear any of the sound. Hopefully someone will come by that has seen this before and has advice. Good luck.

2018 E300 & 2004 CLK500
had the backward clock thing happen on my clk500.. ignition would click but that was all. battery was 3 yrs old.. called MB roadside, they came out, tested the battery, put a new one in and reset the windows, then tested the charging - cost me 177 total. I was back up and running in an hour.

My battery charge was getting low and I had weird stuff starting to happen as well. The Parking sensor system would go into malfunction mode.

I went and picked up a new battery, however, when the shop tested the old one they said it was still good but not fully charged !

I've done a lot of short trips this month and from what I understand, the alternator charges in a way that is suppose to be efficient and 'smart'. (So much for a smart charging system )

Anyway, I tapped into the Engineering menus and found out where I could monitor Battery Voltage while I was driving. I messed around a bit and figured out how I could get the alternator to kick in when I want to and have the voltage up to 15 V.

These AGM batteries can pass a basic test with their battery readers. You really need a load test to expose that there are not enough amps left.

What did you do to get the alternator to kick into high gear? I found that WOT worked.

WOT is probably better than the method I was using. I'd hit the AC and the voltage would move up right away.
