wife is standing by her 2011 e350 holding door handle talking to a friend car beeps and windows and sunroof start to open she jumps lets go of handle the stop she gets in starts car put windows up but now sunroof wont close its open about 3 in with rain and snow for next 3 days....i tried disconnecting battery but that didnt work i checked fuses no good and did some youtube thing that didnt work either hold button back fwd up down 10 sec each but theres really no foward unless im screwing something up BTW is a reg sunroof not a pano ANY HELP PLEASE!!!

You think so? What's that got to do with sunroof..the roof isn't moving at all I can heat a sound in switch but roof doesn't move

Re-syncing is usually the first step in trying to resolve window/sunroof issues. It is simple and quick and works most of the time. If it doesn't help- then the problem might be more serious. If you read the whole page- it also progresses through additional steps/solutions.

You could also try holding the lock button on your key fob and see if it closes.
