Twitch in rear end

I drive a 2011 E350 with very low miles,26,000. I am 73 and not an aggressive driver. When pulling away from a stop and turning at the same time I get a twitch from the rear end if I use more than 1/4 throttle. It is like the torque steer you get in a front wheel drive car under full throttle. This makes entering the traffic a bit dicey. I always drive in E not sport so I am starting in second gear. The twitch happens in mid turn so I do not think it happens during an up shift. Is this normal? Is it something to do with the limited slip diff? Is my car broken, it has done this since new? Anyone have any ideas?

Is it a 4Matic? On tight turns it can hop a bit. Sometimes the ESP will cut in on turning from a dead stop and gassing it. The ESP senses wheel spin and will cause this pregnant pause which can be very alarming.

It is not a 4 wheel. When I pull away I am using 1/4 throttle. the only way to avoid it is to be very easy on the gas.

Try turning off the traction control and see if this feels any different to you. Do everything the same as you normally do, but with the traction control off.
