Black trim peeling
I have a few wear areas of interior black trim that have worn or peeled. To sure what touch up options exist or if and how much replacement would be.
Thanks!

for the first picture (command know) you can wrap that piece with vinyl (any color of your choice)
but the steering wheel control (why so much sand and other crud in there lol) .... im not sure what can be done.
even tho i applied a little amount of plasti dip on my lock/unlock buttons and it kinda looks identical to that matt black paint so you cant really tell its there unless you look close. (its temporary though until i find smth else)

IIRC that panel that surrounds the comand knob is less than $50. I had the same issue 3 years ago.
But if you have to use something else like plasti dip then just do that on both. Shame that this happens. You would think for a high use component it would be more durable.

I had a spot on the steering wheel on the CPO ML350 we got- the dealership had a guy who does touch-up work for them. I couldn't tell where the spot was when he was done. I don't know what it is about European cars and the rubberized coatings peeling. It seems to be a common issue with Mercedes and BMW.
