2012 E350 Blue Efficiency questions

What are some of the pros & cons with Blue Efficiency? Our retired mechanic asked if the car has air suspension. What do I look at to find that out? We are upgrading from 95 S320, it's a different world now ;-)

Pros of BlueEFFICIENCY is reduced fuel consumption. The only con I have come across is the "smart" alternator maintains a lower state of charge on the battery. So if you park your car for a while (2+ weeks), you can come back to a dead battery.

Only E350 wagons for the 2012 model year came with Airmatic suspension.

Pro: 400 Ft-Lb of torque, 40 mpg highway, great features, ride, and W212 style.
Con: Search for the dreaded OMG 642 oil cooler leak. Not sure if the 2012 changed to the new seals, but the stock orange seals (2011 and previous for sure) are prone to leak eventually.

Replacement is a $10 part, $200 in fluids and new gaskets, and something like 12 hours shop labor. I did it myself at 42K miles, but it took me 16 hours, because I'm slow

2012 E350
I purchased a 2012 E 350 Blue Efficiency last year and usually I perform most of the maintenance on my vehicles. It is time to change spark plugs and I googled and you tubed how to do it but everything thing I found is for the W212 and my engine is not set up like that at all. Any Idea of where I can find a service manual or video to show this engine?

They don't really do service manuals anymore. You'd have to get a subscription to StarTek or get a copy of the WIS/EPC on eBay for around $10 like this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/282820670774

The official Startek subscription is about $60 a day so the eBay route is a lot cheaper...
