This isn't a restored car, what you see is what you get, there's some patina.
I miss the old colors

Pic not showing up but I'm glad to know someone's got a fintail and is taking good care of it!

As for colors, my car is just gray but I'm really loving the Piedmont Green on the W213/S213. Not enough to run out and buy one, however I've yet to see a photo that does it justice.

I thought the W213 was the worst in terms of looks, then I saw one in real life and must say it is absolutely gorgeous! For me as of right now it's, w210>w213>PFL w212>FLw212

213 wagon is a nice looking machine. I wish we got the 205 wagon, C250 Bluetec 4Matic for me, please.

For 212 colors, I like Quartz Blue and Diamond Silver. Both seem relatively uncommon, especially as it is always hard to find the color you want with the options you want (without a custom build).

My 212 is Indigo Blue, which is still blue, and not the most common. Just dark enough to be a slight pain to keep looking clean.

Yesterday and this morning. A bit warm here in the PNW which means hot in the old car, but still fun, the car is a pleasure to drive and runs as nicely as anyone could hope for an unrestored old car.

Getting back into the 212 makes me appreciate AC, however

I'll bet you turned a lot of heads out on the road.

There are a fair amount of 212s in the area and I have yet to see one in Indigo Blue. I've been curious since the time I started looking what it looks like in person. The Lunar Blue looked good but too dark for upkeep.

Best looking one is a 2009 W211 with the AMG package. I had a black on black 2006 E3504matic and had people everywhere even at stoplights tell me that it was a beautiful car. Never happens with the W212 though the 2012-2013 with sport package and the wheels with the thin and thick sports in dark grey look pretty good.

I think in that regard, it could only be beat by driving a gullwing with the doors open. It gets an amazing amount of attention for an old sedan. The color has to help.

Lots of 212s in my area too. I have seen maybe 2 or 3 indigo cars. Of course, most are black, white, or grey. Lunar Blue is pretty, but also pretty dark, yeah. Indigo is nice, unusual, I would have probably preferred Diamond Silver with a very light interior (mine is brown), but this a nice change from the ordinary normal color on black.

A prior car, a pre-FL E350, was white with pano, it got plenty of compliments.
