So yesterday I was sitting on the back seats of my car for some interior cleaning and I noticed there were two wet spots on the headliner surrounding the sunroof. We been having some rainy weather in Houston and sometime I like to drive with sunroof open for fresh air (right after it stops raining), so could it be some water got in and wet the headliner?
I have included the pictures, so are these spots caused by sunroof leaks or something else minimal? thanks guys, thinking of taking it in to the dealership
I would say take it to the dealer and hopefully they perform a leak test. If no leaks are detected then at least you will know that opening/cracking open right after rain may not be a good idea.

I drove lot of cars with sunroof open (with bigger panoramic sunroof), and I have never seen wet spots like these on the headliners. I have already scheduled an appointment with dealer and they are willing to do a leak test, so hopefully is something minimal!
My guess is the drains have clogged and the water simply backed up and overflowed into the cabin. The dealer will check these and clear them if that is the case. Water is allowed to come through the sunroof to body seam, but is channeled away to the 2 drains.

I think this might be the case. Its weird how this can happen on a 2016 car. Anyway, hopefully dealer can find out the problems and resolve them quick, or I'm going to miss my baby e class haha

noob quesrion: Is that covered under warranty or ELW?
Thanks.

Did you ever get resolution on this with your car? I am having the same issue. Water test has been performed and they are telling me is all working as it should. I also have trouble with mine completely sealing when I open and close the sunroof. I have to close it then tilt it up and close it again to get it to close completely. Thanks!
