I hated that color when I was in the market. But, once I sat in the vehicle and had a feel from the inside and looked at the color in person. It was amazing
Good find. Congrats on your new ride.
I wanted white but I ended up with the Palladium Silver. I like how metallic it is and how much it shines in sunlight, it also hides blemishes pretty well.
It really is a great color and yours looks fantastic. I love all the MB metallics and have had my share of metallic silvers. I used to think that silver was the only color for an MB car, but thankfully that changed. Congrats!
Last 2 MB's have been Palladium Silver. My 2010 Sport Edition had the AMG Package with Black interior and my 2014 Luxury Edition has the Grey interior. Love both cars. Getting ready to start looking at a 2018/19 "Palladium Silver".
I'm a bit on the fence on this color. I am in the market for a c207 and went to look at one in palladium and honestly can't tell if I love it or hate it. It is like almost grey but not quite and has a hint of blue to it. Has anyone done any chrome delete or blacking out of anything on this vehicle? I would be interested to see how it looks.
It's a great color that definitely looks better in person than it does in a photo. My C55 was "silver iridium" a very similar color, perhaps a little lighter. You are right, these silver shades hide almost all dirt and other surface imperfections. I have a triple black '14 E350 now with an E63 black leather interior. Love the looks, but it needs to be washed once a week or more -- looks fantastic and in IMHO, better than anything else, for about 10 seconds after a wash/wax.

This is the one that I am currently on the fence about. I actually think they photograph really well... with this paint it depends on what time of day, lighting etc. it can range from blueish silver to a more grey. I was wondering if any appearance mods like blacking the chrome trim, badges, grill, etc would look ok on this car, it seems like most keep this particular color stock which does look fantastic.
I ditto the comment that it is hard to beat the looks of WASHED AND WAXED black MB, but for practial reasons I tend to seek white models.
Currently our 2008 model is withe and regardless 182k miles it still turns the heads.
The 2014 is black and I have no patience to keep washing it.
In Vegas we have very hard water and even I run pipes from water softener, the water drying on the paint in 20 seconds still leaves spots.
Hopeless.
Now I did like silver 20 years ago, but since then about 75% of MB come silver. That gets plain boring.
Years ago I was excited about banana color and Fiat was actually making them, but I doubt I'll find banana MB in my life.
They are called Euro 26 wheels. Found them here but they are asking almost twice what I paid... I originally found mine on eBay from a seller in Los Angeles.
The spokes are painted and seem to chip easily. The chrome lips scratch and dent really easily, I've never hit a single curb but they're all scratched up on the edges for some reason. Maybe it was the tire installers, no idea. Anyway, I don't recommend these wheels, so much so that I'm already running a different set of rims on my car, but that's because I bent my front rim and was quoted $700 to repair them. No thanks.
Here is my 2012 E550 in palladium. I had an iridium silver w211 before it. That color is much lighter and more true silver. The palladium is much warmer in addition to being a little darker. It’s the best color I’ve owned for not showing dirt and salt in the winter. Also had a steel grey C63 that color was darker but beautiful with some blue tones in sunlight. My E63 wagon is black and a pain to keep clean.
Have a good friend with a two year old Bentley Continental drop top, cream color body, brown top and sand color interior. Just a beauty, also goes quite well with the V8. Great car to drive to the golf course!
