I hope I am not double posting or breaking any rules but I posted this same thread on W205 forum but no one replied and I really have no where else to go to make sure I am fully satisfied with my upcoming purchase]
Hello everyone,
I have always been and still am a fan of the three pointed star brand and diesel engines
I've owned a 2008 W203 and now I am driving a 2008 W204 and now it is time to upgrade to something newer for the next 3-4 years or so and I am torn between getting a 2010-2011 E250 or a 2014-2015 C220d, just to clarify that just like my old and current car I am going to buy a taxi and convert it to private use and it being a taxi means no luxury features which is why I am little torn between the two[Example bellow]

E250,E300, E350 models comes with 7G-tronic, a Sunroof, backup Camera, and some of them come with beige interior.

Both are priced almost the same.
What I dislike about the C-Class is the fact that it doesn't come with a sunroof or Projector headlight just the regular reflective housing while the E250 comes with a sunroof but then again it is a 2011 and it has done more kilometers than the 2014-2015 C220d.

What would you advice me brothers?
If anyone wondering would I be buying a Taxi benz rather than a normal one
1. is obviously it is way cheaper
2. No one buys a diesel Mercedes here and I like diesel cars.

I'm partial to seeing the NAV screen IN the dash (E class), and not looking like was just "glued" on (C class).

I also felt more comfortable in the E seats, than the C class, especially in the back seats for my passengers.
