245/30/20

Bought 20" wheels for my 2014 E350 4matic coupe. The 245/35/20 setup rubs heavily agaisnt the lower coil perch. I doubt even 10mm spacers would give it enough room. I could change my tires to 245/30/20 which should clear but id have to change my rears as well to stay within a 1% rolling radius. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice. Just so frustrated with the whole situation. Ive invested $3,000 in wheels and tires that dont fit.

You should take it up with the tire shop that sold you that size and told you it would fit.

I bought them online from Varrstoen. No return policy however they told me the owner will be back Tuesday. I told them the specific wheels I wanted but not the specs because this is my first Benz and to just make sure they fit. I don't see how its fair that I should have to buy new tires for their mistake but I might be left with no other choice.

So it looks like the only viable option for me is to get tires sized at 245/30/20 and 285/25/20. I talked to Need4Speed and he told me this is the correct fitment. Im hoping that is the case.

I don't disagree with you, but it would be wise to give them the opportunity to cure the issue on Tuesday before buying anything else.

2014 E550-sold 😩
I concur, especially if they sold you a combo wheel and tire. They should make good on the fitment.

I will call again on tuesday i will see what happens. The wheels looks great on the car it sucked having to take them off because they really took my cars aesthetics to the next level. This is the second time ive bought wheels from varrstoen. The first was a couple years ago for my G37. I had 0 problems. They mostly put wheels on jdm cars and they said this would be the first e class they put these particular wheels on. Anyways i will let you guys know what happens.

What are the offsets and which tire model/manufacturer? I am running 245/35r20 x 275/30r20 on my lowered e550 without issue. The Tires are hankook ventus evo v12's which run narrow at the tread. When I was lowered a bit I had no rubbing at all. Now that I further lowered the car (tucked a bit) I get very slight rubbing over large bumps in the front on the outside of the car/fenders.

I previously ran 245/30r20 and 285/25r20 Pirelli p zero nero gt's. The newer larger diameter set are MUCH smoother and it's worth the trade off to me. I run a pretty aggressive offset.

Ya man but you deff dont have a stock suspension system. Having coilovers is giving you way more room inside your wheel well.
