ThreeMBs --- I NEED YOUR HELP
Hey bro I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me do it for some reason and I think this is the fastest way to reach you I know you're more knowledgeable on wheels offsets and fitments on the 212/ 218 chassis and I need your help.
NOTE: My w212 is lowered on H&R springs. Ok im currently running F19x8.5 +23 245/35, R19x9.5 +26 275/30 and the fitment is on point (fender side). But anyways, I'm about to order my new wheels on Monday and the wheels are F19x9 and R19x10 and I'm thinking to run F255/35 and R295/30. Based on my calculations, F19x9 +35 255/35, R19x10 +40 295/30 would be equal or the same poke (fender side) as my current set up so I know I'm good on fender side.
Ok now my main concern is the strut side, do you think my new set up will rub on the strut/ strut boot especially on the front?
Thanks in advance.
John

I do not have experience with lowered cars, so my reply may not help your specific case.
But, for stock hight, what you're planning to run will have no clearance issues on the inside (strut side).

This spec is F19x8.5 +23 245/35 and is on point and I rarely rub. My new set up would be the same poke (fender side) like the picture above.
Just don't know on the strut side though??

It goes without saying that the proposed set up, will be much closer to the struts than the current set up. As the pictures show - very minor poke upfront as compared to how it would look non lowered - there must be a significant camber change vs. stock, so the best way to know (other than fitting new setup) is to measure how much room you currently have to play with.
