Blown Speaker, or Amp issues.

I'm a MB newbie, and am enjoying my 14 E350 I just purchased. Has 35K on it and Sunday the front tweeter (speaker right above the front windows) started burning (could smell it) and just blew-started buzzing real bad, and strange that even though it cut down some, still buzzed pretty good after turning off the main unit.
I brought it to the d/ship yesterday and today they had it fixed with new speaker. Problem is, when I pulled in d/way it started buzzing again so the problem isn't fixed.
I was looking for stereo improvements (The HK sounds nice-just needs alil extra, imo-but I decided to leave it alone) a mth or so ago and searched for stereo and speakers and remember reading a few posts about the same issue-but can't remember if it was a speaker or amp issue.
Anybody have the same issue?

14 Coupe, you should be posting here: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...brio-a207-141/

No revised speaker part #s listed in EPC so no indication that any speaker installed at production is defective and/or problem has been corrected. As you mentioned two 212 members experienced this resulting in dealer replacing speaker. In your case I would return to dealer to check buzzing and request they submit an “Information Only PTSS case” to be reviewed by MBUSA.

Before doing so see if fosterelli https://mbworld.org/forums/private.p...newpm&u=350629 & MBATF https://mbworld.org/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=1103 will provide their VINs to support your PTSS request this way your dealer can pull VMIs to retrieve their service record to support trend.
