2015 E350, Look like something is missing inside trunk access panel driver side.
Hi guys,
Can someone tell me what inside the truck access panel or support to be there? Behind the little access door on the driver side farther to the rear. It look like some type of control unit was removed.
There are loose wire harness not tie to anything hanging to the side and the metal bracket appear to be something once was bolted to it. Only control box is behind the metal bracket.
I might have an options that I didn't know about that the previous owner removed.
TIA!!

IIRC my airmatic compressor is behind the panel in the rearmost corner on the driver side. Does you car have airmatic? Can't something getting removed unless there are other signs the car was heavily modded. Maybe post a pic?

No airmatic or tail lamp service behind there but that is the right location though. I'll take a picture when I get home.

This is the compartment I'm was talking about. I had to tie wraps the harness on the left so it doesn't dangle freely. notice the scuffle marks on the metal bracket, it look like something was once mounted there.
btw, this compartment is huge! you can storage a lots of stuff in there. I just bungee my owner manual to the bracket.
