Bought several Mobil 1 Five-gallon oil jugs while on sale years back. Been slowly using a few.
Wondering if Mobile 1 oil degrades after a few years storage in my garage...?

Technically no it doesn't. Standard shelf life of oil according to the oil companies is 5 years, but that's because a new API grade typically comes out by then, but the oil is still good for beyond that. If you're worried about it, shake up the jug before using it in case anything settled on the bottom. And 5 gallons is a pretty big jug.

I suspect those were five-litre jugs. If they were sealed, you should be fine.

They're 5 quart jugs.
The 5 gallon jugs are for the beer I'll be drinkin' doing the oil change....
