2002 to 2009 is W211, so this is not the right forum. However, my advise would be to be look for a facelift model (i.e. 2007 or newer). The early W211s had quality issues and Mercedes made over 3000 changes (If i recall correctly) to the 2007 model to address these quality issues.

Not only that, but all 2006 had balance shaft problems which didn't get corrected til sometime in 2007 so 2008-2009 is safer. Also 2006 had the SBC brakes which they got rid of in 2007+.
