Hi all beloved members here, first of all I'm glad to join this forum and sorry for my poor English. I'm looking for your advice, I'm having problem with my w212 'car start ' problem. The problem occured from few months back, and I sent my car for EIS repaired. When I turn on the key, the lights in the instrument cluster light up as usual and when I continue to turn the key in order to start the engine there are no response. The problem were solved after EIS being repaired . 2 months+ after that, im facing the same problem again. My mechanic suspect that it was starter problem / SAM problem. But the situation for both 2 times are the same , I guess that it was the faulty EIS problem. Anyone has idea that a USED UNIT SAM can be installed on my car? The mechanic refused to claim warranty for me (as what they promised the EIS repair comes with a 3 months warranty at least). Starter is working well, everything is functioned well other than car start problem. Could it be the SAM faulty cause my problem ?
