Bi-Xenon high beam malfunction causing headlight shut off
The driver side bi-xenon headlight on my 2012 W212 will turn on, auto level and after a minute shut off. Within a minute of powering on, I have attempted to flash the high beam, only to find out that only passenger side flashing and driver side not responding at all.
The bulb and control unit are working fine. This is confirmed after vigorous testing and diagnostic.
I'm getting the following error after running a quick test scan via Xentry Diagnostic Tool:
E1n1 - Left xenon headlamp (XALWA-L)
"9033 The actuator motor for left light distribution has a malfunction"
Anyway to fix the high beams or shall I go ahead and pull the trigger on a new headlight unit which will cost a fortune?
