Dash and console wrapped with Carbon Fiber

Just sharing my pics of the hideous burl walnut trim that is now wrapped with Carbon Fiber vinyl. Used VViViD+ 2017 version black carbon fiber material. Less than $50, but lots of hours to properly disassemble the pieces and wrap. I also replaced the edge pieces of the center console with the silver version from 2014+ face-lift model. Direct fit for about $60 online.

Looks great. I've thought about doing this to my faded wood but it doesn't bother me enough...yet.

Looks clean, IMHO.
BTW, could you please share the details about the cellphone holder at the bottom.
I have a hideous Windshield mounted cellphone holder, but the view overlaps with A-Pillar, so, it never bothered me though.

Very classy and nice attention to detail. Your time spent was worth it.

Nice job man, if your wood is super faded and your out of factory warranty, its a great solution =D or if you have the aluminum interior on a c class from our cars =D

Was not faded much, I just think the light wood is super ugly. I don't even know why they continue to put that crap in cars and call it luxury. It's been ugly for decades. The black ash is not bad, but walnut, yuck! The new matte look wood is better, but still wood.

Looking good. Can you post a link to where you purchased the 2014+ aluminum side trim from?
