Bluetooth Audio Question
2014 E550 - If I select “Bluetooth Audio” it will start playing songs off my iPhone 6 and I can raise and lower the volume like normal. No problem there. But if I load my DirecTV app on my iPhone, the audio is really faint and I cannot turn up the volume at all with the command knob or steering wheel buttons. On the bottom of the comand screen there is a volume option that lets me “boost” it but only by a very small margin. And before you ask, the volume bar on the DirecTV App is maxed as well as the volume on my iPhone 6.
Any ideas?

I would suspect the app or phone as the car is just receiving the signal. Do you get the same sound difference when using a BT speaker or headphones? It could be the audio on the DTV app is downmixed, compressed or whatever to save on data usage.

Hmmm....good point, I haven't tired using the DirecTV app with a Bluetooth headphones or speaker. Will try that tonight.
