Has anyone change the rear fog light from right to left or can you have both sides working. I am trying to regester my UK plated car to spain

No, only the left side is the fog light. In the event of any of the 3 brake lights stop working, the right one will work as a temporary replacement.

(Your driver side fog light should be the only one that works when you press the fog light, this information can be found on Google "Mercedes driver side only fog light" or in your car manual)

 

I have same issue now in Poland, how you resolved this?

 

There is nothing wrong. Only the driver's rear fog light turns on. The one on the passenger ONLY turns on when one of the three other default brake lights fails.

 

Car needs reprogramming to left hand drive, by dealer or mechanic with Star diagnosis, no matter which side the steering wheel is on.

 

Yes but depends on which side of the car IS the drivers side, Taking a right hand drive car to mainland Europe where they drive on the right. IMHO the correct way.
