so weird situation has just occured after i took my vehicle in for its schedule oil change/tire rotation..,my command will stay on after i take the key out unless i manually press the power button or when i just in get the car after driving for about 30 mins the command will say its shutting down dont understand and i cant find my maunal to see if it somehow got switched to a different, want to know if anyone has had the same issue or knows how to resolve without taking back to the dealership

Disconnect the battery for a good while and try again. This is the W212 section of the forum for E class cars BTW.
