OEM or LED Parking Lights?
Both my parking lights are out. I like to keep my car original with OEM equipment but wonder if LED's are a better choice. Any problems with LED's that others have purchased. Aware of message issues and that some LEDS have mitigation for that. Is there any concern about them running hotter and damaging the housings?

I guess I am curious as to the motivation for changing the parking lights to the LED's. Is it strictly appearance or is there a functional reason? I can't remember if they are on when the headlights are one. If you have halogen headlights (I do) are they actually whiter than the halogens such that they look funny next to the halogens?

Personal preference.
I like the white (5500-6000k) look of them. They match up to the OEM running light leds (hockey sticks) in the front lower grill.
I also installed Morimoto HIDs in the lo beam projector housings to replace the halogens. To me they were a lighting improvement that still retained a decent cut-off due to the projector housing.

You’ll want to make sure the LEDs are canbus enabled to not trigger codes. Parking really is more aesthetics, but pair great with matching Morimoto hids. Let us know if we can help set you up.
