On the other hand, if the car has EVERYTHING else you want, minus the Lighting Package...then you may be able to work a good deal on it, then add the OEM full-LED headlights afterwards. Seems like it would simply be a direct swap since the base headlights already have LEDs in them already. (ask Konigtiger for advice on that)
Yeah, my E350 has all three...so they definitely exist, but I will admit I had an open wallet & was very patient and focused when I was looking for it---something that a lot of people aren't willing to sacrifice or go thru. It takes a while, albeit you will feel very rewarded when you do find that unicorn. :-)

I just test drove a 2015 e350. The car drove very well. Dealer wants 32,900 and it has 21,800 miles on it. It didnt have the Lighting pckage and all 4 of the wheels had curb rash, 2 of them were really bad....Ill keep looking haha

Curb rash isn't that big a deal, most dealers have shops that can fix it. I think locally there's a shop that charges around $100 a wheel to clean them up and clear coat them again. I haven't done it yet because I can't really stand the thought of spending $400+ to make them look new again, but I could get used/replica ones for $150-$200 a wheel. I've had a couple bent ones and those cost $115 a wheel to bend back.

I don't think anyone has done it yet because each headlight is around $2k so that's going to be a $4k mod plus whatever else might be needed in terms of labor and coding. Better off paying an extra $4k for an E550 or just paying a little extra for the right car.

as it was previously mentioned a few times in this thread, it's probably a pretty simple thing to physically swap the units. There may be additional coding required, but that would be minimal compared to what you would pay for a car that has more features than you really want. If you find a car that has all of the options you want minus the lighting package, it might be more cost-effective for you to buy that car and then swap in the LED lights afterwards. It's just a financial decision that you will have to weigh the pros and cons with.

And that is per LED light, without the necessary electronics. The whole package is $4K per LED light assembly. To retrofit, besides the LED light assemblies, you would need new wiring, controllers and computer coding of the car that only a dealer or someone with an MB computer (vendamo?) can do. I know, I had to have one of my LED lights replaced. That replacement wasn't covered by dealer warranty. I did, however, after a lot of research and a few heated discussions, get the original seller to replace the LED light for me free of charge. Definately not cost effective to retrofit, if it's even possible.

Is that based on the fact that the LED lamps cost $2114 online? They list for about $3k at the dealer. For an extra $4k+, I'd expand my search nationally and pay the extra $1k or so to have a car shipped to you than pay 4k for lights.

I asked the question again because it wasnt clear if wiring or anything else had to be changed besides the headlights to add the full lighting package. But TUMP43 may have answered it by saying wiring and controllers have to be changed. Thats makes the difference rite there. I pursued this because i found a pair of headlight fors $1500 and thats why i thought it would be worth it if only the headlights needed to be changed as i can change them myself. Ive changed out a major wiring harness in a modern ferrari last year but i dont think i wanna search out how to do this again........TREASEAN1..Yes your correct. I did find a couple cars near me that id consider to buy. They have the options i want except for the lighting packages. So search goes on,,,Thanks everyone
