Robotic tone reported from hands free phone calls

So...I have never read a solution. I have a Samsung S7+ Edge, and when I bluetooth hands free connect folks report that it sounds like I in a tunnel, all distorted and "robotic" is there a solution, or is this a faulty bluetooth electronics in some of tjese COMAND units?

I have had a robotic sounding call before. Making the call again or in worse cases restarting the phone made the issue go away. Probably happened about 1 out of every 50 calls - not common enough that I ever thought I needed to do something. Always thought that it was interference from another BT device like watch but not sure.

You could try a hard power cycle on comand by holding in power button until it cuts off and release power to reboot.

I've hit this many times...and rebooting COMAND always fixes it. Rebooting COMAND also seems to fix Bluetooth streaming hiccups as well.
