Not sure if its called NTG 4.5, but what all do I need to convert from my 2012 Command 4.0 to the 2014+ Style? Just the monitor and radio?

How about not a damn thing and go straight to the latest 10.25in Display that the current unit can integrates into? save you a few bucks...
Personally this may become the hottest mod for W212 in 2018...

It is your current system and more. All existing functionalities of ur OEM unit will still be displayed - except in a bigger screen. (Think of it as a pass-through)
Along with it it opens up other functions that are apps driven on a android tablet system. For example u can download google map. Instead of using the native MB navigation system (which isn't that great when compared to google map or Waze), you could click on app and use one of the navigation app you have downloaded.

the caviate is that you will need to leverage ur phone as a hotspot for the new display to have internet connectivity while ur driving.
