Hi guys, i am a w176 owner, sorry for jumping into this thread but it seems there is plenty of know how here on this unit. I have installed the N600 10.25 HU on my car and everything works fine. Just a bizarre behaviour, everytime the unit is turned on, its wifi is set to off. This is annoying because I've set a bixby routine on my Samsung phone so thay everytime my phone is connected to MB BT, it turns tethering on and the HU picks up data. Now i always have to go android settings first on the HU and switch on the wifi. Is anyone else having the same issue? I looked in all possible settings including factory ones but couldn't find what might be causing this.
One more question, i read that connecting the phone to the android BT is a bad idea due to poor mic so i guess my current setup of having my phone connected on both the COMMAND and the HU is a bad idea? Wouldn't i lose some functionality by not having the pool phone connected to the HU?

I have the N600 10.25" installed in a W205 Merces C class. I have a big problem, sometimes the screen switch on when i switch on the car, and others not. Anyone knows why sometimes the screen doesn't switch on?
Also until press reset button, is impossible to switch on, when it happens.

sounds a lot like the cheap off-brand Android based TV settop boxes I had in the past. random lockups, random problems, generally solvable by a full reset (pull power plug, wait half minute, plug back in). Got me an NVidia Shield, and never had that problem again, goes months without needing a full reboot.

It's how it worked out of the box. Didn't futz with anything. If I'm listening to something on the NTG side (Bluetooth, Sirius) and I go over to Android side and open say, CNN, and go to Live TV -- after a few seconds, COMAND automatically switches to the Aux input.

My head unit worked fine until this morning and the screen flipped upside down.
I restarted my car a few times, but it didn't revert back to the normal position.
Did anyone experience this issue? Would there be any solution to this?

I got a response from the seller and it turned out that one of the SMD resistors was faulty.
I replaced it with a new resistor and it works fine now. (R11 - 0 omh)
Of course, it requires soldering techniques..

heh. I hate doing SMD work, I was fine with electronics when most of it was 0.1" centers, but SMD stuff is just too tiny for me. That, or my eyes are too old. or both.

Just for the record.
This is the instruction given by the seller.
And I got new softwares and firmwares from here in case if anyone needs.

heh, that bridge, I'd probably have put down a little stub of pre-tinned strand of thin copper wire, then try to use a lot less solder, cuz connections that are blobbed like that bother me. but like i said earlier, I hate that surface mount stuff.
still glad I was able to enable android auto on my stock Mercedes NTG5 on my 2016 using vladimer's dongle. even my wife likes it and its mostly her car.

BT Connections
Anyone knows how to make the Android HU connect to two phones simultaneously via Bluetooth?
The MB OEM unit allows to do that so the passenger's phone can be streaming music but if a phone call comes in into the driver's phone, the audio switches to that one for the call. I want that when connected to the Android Screen as well
