Who did you purchase the adapter from, if you don't mind me asking? I am having the same issue. Everything works for me except my knob. If I could get the knob to work. I could switch the unit to Aux.

You could also improve it by adding Apple Carplay to it, here is a good tutorial: https://thecarplayer.com/blogs/news/...rcedes-e-class
