Both key fobs bad???
OK so my car is telling me "replace key fob battery" which of course I've done. Energizer 2025 in both! Doesn't help. They work intermittently. Frequently I have to click the button to lock and unlock the doors. It doesn't recognize my touch.
Could I have a bad receiver on the car? I searched but didn't find much besides a lot of battery advice. But I've changed them twice and I took one set to WM and they tested fine.
Ideas?

Where did you get the batteries and what's the voltage on the batteries? Some fake knock off ones aren't very good and the ones sitting around at the local store may have lost their charge. Brand new mine tests out at about 3.31 volts and when I get the battery fob message they're down to about 3.06.

Make sure surfaces are free from lint, grease and all other contamination also try carefully bending metal tabs where battery sits message should go away if there is proper voltage. If not, need to have dealer check keys/system.
