I think I found someone that can remove the resonator and weld in stainless straight pipe, but he was concerned that a sensor after the resonator that might throw a code. Does anyone know if these is a sensor after the resonator?

On my 2010 E550, there is not a sensor after the resonator. I've replaced my resonator with an X-pipe and replaced the mufflers, no codes.
