2014 E250 Front Coil Springs
I have the above car, and changed back to the stock coil over springs on the front struts. Before putting the coil springs back on with a compressor, I noticed that it was curved or bent to one side, on each of the coil springs. Is this normal? The strut and spring is installed back, and 2 shops cannot align the wheels.
There is no local stock of the coil over springs so I cannot compare them. I hope of you went thru this to confirm if the stock coil spring for the front strut is supposed to be bent/curve, or simply straight.

You probably have them on backwards. I think the bottom is a bit more curved than the top. So if you flipped it around, I can see it not lining up straight. I replaced the ones in my 2011 also and didn't even compress the spring, putting it on the wrong way kinda instantly shows that it won't line up right.
