2012 E550 4matic?
I have the opportunity to buy a 2012 E550 4matic with 130,000 miles for $15,000, the car has been serviced about 3 times a year (Just for maintenance not because of problems) for the past 5 years, no accidents,and has only had 1 owner. I'm only hesitant to buy because it's getting up there in miles. Can anyone share problems they've had with their E550 and their opinion on whether or not I should buy it.

Don't bother here is why. I bought a one owner 2011 E550 4 matic, AMG package fully loaded black exterior tan interior sedan. 21kmiles on it corporate car. Mint pristine for nothing. Drove it for a year sold it to a family member. If you want more details PM me. Forgot to mention it was a regret I let go but upgraded anyways

Mine: 2014 E550 4matic; Hers: 2016 CLS 400 4matic
I am at around 36K miles on my 2014 E550 the only problems I have have had are: (1) start/stop malfunction; (2) auxiliary battery needed replacement; and (3) front brakes warped.

My point ari, is he should pass it up. He can find a w212 e550 clean history less miles for 15-20k.

What options does the car have? Overall condition? Curb rash on the wheels (pet peeve of mine)? New tires and brakes? How did it drive? Colors? One owner, and dealer (hopefully MB) serviced is nice, and $15k is not a lot of money for a 2012, but not enough info....if it's a base w212 I'd probably pass, but if it's loaded (P2 and distronic) and the right color and condition, mite be worth a look..post the VIN or pics if you're unsure of the options.....good luck
