P014A Code
Hi All,
I have a 2013 E550 4Matic. It has about 55k miles on it. About two months ago I had my radiator replaced under warranty and literally on the way home I popped this code. I was told to drive it for 100 miles to see if it goes out. Well, it did. But over the last two months it has come and gone about a half a dozen times, going out a few days after it pops. I finally got a scanner and it showed this current code and the stored codes as well - the code is related to I believe to a secondary O2 sensor reading, but that it may not be specifically related to the sensor itself.
I have been flagging this to the dealer that did the work every time. They want me to bring the car back in since I have the code. I'm hesitant - and what I am trying to understand is how much of a coincidence this is (literally no codes on the car until the drive home from picking it up) or what they could have knocked around to **** something off.
Has anyone ever experienced this code? What could be causing it and what is the repair and how could it be tied into the radiator work (or can it)? I want to be informed before I bring it in.
Thanks for any insights!
Brian
