I have a problem with the passenger seat in my 2010 e350 coupe. The seat can't move forward or backward due to the adjuster motor cable. It came off because one of the small plastic that holds the motor got loose and because of that the cable got damage on the side that goes into the motor. I went to some garages and they wanted to replace the whole seat track! Which cost $1200 just for the part!
They said Mercedes don't sell the cable alone which is crazy. Here is my question, is it possible to buy the cable alone online? If so from where ?
I have attached a pic of the cable so you can understand the situation better.
MB sells a repair kit for those, they break often from people leaving things under the seat. Here is the document, it lists the part # you need for the repair kit.
