looking for some info
so these stock wheels on the base e350 sedan are 18x8.5 square, right?
running 245/40/18 tires from factory
i'm looking for 2 replacement wheels for my wife's E350 and i'm seeing some listings which ... look the same to me but end up being different wheels
thanks Mercedes Benz
(you can see the big gouge/chunk in the front right wheel. rear one has similar damage)
does the C-class have a 18x7.5 version that looks just like this?
and the CLS(?) has a 19" version which also looks just like this?
do MB wheels go by a style number or anything to differentiate? part number?
appreciate any help

Those look like the 17's I just put on. Might be that they use the same wheel in multiple sizes depending on the year. I know that style in 17 was standard on the luxury version of the 2010 E350 and the 18 staggered was on the sport. But the 18's I had were just standard 5 spoke design.
does the E350 non-sport come with 18x8.5 square?
or are the wheels staggered in size?

The Owner's manual for my 2016 E350 Sport has 14 pages of tire specs. They vary all over the lot, based on model and engine size (not a wheel style number), but not distinguished by "Base" or "Sport". (i.e., base and sport E350s seem to have the same wheel as stock in 2016)
For my car, I have 245/40 R18 97V XL (extra load) M+S tires (Conti Pro Contac), on 8.5J x 18 H2 wheels (style as pictured above). These are not staggered (same size all four wheels). HTH

my wife's car has square set of 245/40/18 tires from the dealership........
i guess i need to pull the wheels off to make sure about the width
anyway i'm leaning toward just getting the wheels repaired instead of trying to buy replacements
as long as it's safe to do so and will pass inspection in 9 months
