Hello all - I am a brand new Mercedes owner. I've been a Jaguar guy forever, and have owned some higher mileage and older Jaguars, but I decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a nice new(er) Mercedes. I just bought a 2016 W212, just about fully loaded (parktronic, multi-contour seats, panaramic sunroof, leather w/ventilated seats, AMG wheels, etc) and I'm looking to take my wife and kids on a road trip. I'd love to get a rear seat entertainment system with two monitors for the back seats, with the ability to also watch on the COMMAND monitor (I'm considering getting an in-motion setup), or have the ability for the kids to watch their dvd with headphones and still listen to the radio through the car speakers. The dealer wants $4500 for the factory setup, which I know is insane, and I think I can get the factory parts for $1000, but anyone have any experience with any aftermarket systems?

And while we're on the topic of roads trips, anyone have an aftermarket roof rack that they think is better than the Mercedes roof rack? I appreciate the help!
