How do I set my turn signal to flash three times?
I make smoother, slower, ponderous lane changes, and I've been pleased as the 5-blink is the perfect amount of time for me
(if I ever get an E63 I'll leave it on 3-blink

If we are discussing the "lane change" blink feature, it is set at the factory to blink 3 times when activated at the pressure point.. Although I am open to learning anything new, this has been discussed on several MBWorld forums through the years, and I have not read anywhere of any way for an owner to change the number of blinks.
If we are discussing the "turn signal" feature, the turn signal will blink an infinite number of times until the car completes its turn, and the turn lever mechanically resets to off. As far as I am aware, this is not user adjustable, either.

W212 connects via Xentry i believe rather than DAS but the parameter can be changed in Vediamo in the front SAM.

IMO, the next person who states that the "lane change" feature (3-flash) can be changed (to 5-flash or any other) will need to provide credible proof. "Should be'" "could be," etc., is not proof.
In Mercedes I don't believe this to be the case, but I am not sure. As DFW noted, my W203 worked this way and most cars I've had in the past 10 years have also worked this way. It is a nice feature I would not want to go without anymore.

Here is your proof for the setting.

So now, who will be the first to post a video of the "5-clicks?" (Going to the store to buy some popcorn...

)With the 212 there "may" be limited functioning still in the older DAS system but I don't actually have a 212 model to test. In either case you can program it in Vediamo easily on the "newer" vehicle models.
As you can see below DAS only has the 212 as a prototype why I say there should still be limited functions in that system.
And no I am not going to post a video proving the programming option that I already showed and have done.
If you do not have a mux, DAS and Vediamo then you will never get it done regardless.
