High Beam/Active Lane Keeping/Pre-Safe Malfunction
I bought my 2014 E350 CPO back in 2015 with the Driver Assistance Package. Since then every 4-6 months, it starts throwing error messages for the High Beam assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Pre-Safe function at the same time. When I have taken it into the shop, they have always said it needed a software update or that they couldn't recreate the error message. This issue typically happens in the mornings, and usually, if I turn the car off and back on after a few minutes, the messages will disappear. Any ideas on what causes this? Has anyone else had this experience?

What is the state of charge of your battery? This is a common occurrence when the battery dips below a certain sustainable charge, and yes I have seen the warnings with a low battery.

I have not seen hi-beam or lane keep warnings but have had presafe and Distronic malfunctions and they got fixed by changing the auxiliary battery. I bought mine from the dealer for $64. Some have bought it from other sources for $20 or so.
I dont know know exactly what kind or size and where the aux battery is located in your car. On my 2010 it is in the end of the dash on driver side.
