Shattered Headlamp Lens
Shattered the lens on my left bi-xenon headlight last night. Lights are fine and working but i need a new lens cover. Any idea how easy it will be to get a new lens cover without having to go and buy a new headlight assembly altogether?

I'm not aware of lenses being available, I think you can only buy the assembly.
To separate the lens, you're in for a job. MB uses a very aggressive sealant on these lights not intended to be taken apart. It can be done but not like simple oven heat and separate. Check with Oda112 as he has done this related to an internal repair in the light.

Thanks! Looks like this will not be easy feat. I might be better off looking for a used headlight unit to replace this with.

I have a W212, so I had to look for myself what might be required to replace a lens.
You can buy the lens from CZ for under $200: https://www.ebay.com/itm/292224355392?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMak eTrack=true
Here's how to remove the assembly:
I have removed a lens from a 2003 C32 to replace the xenon ballast, but not the W212.
It is difficult to loosen the goo glue on the C32, but with heat it gets pliable, and I did not damage it during the repair.
I would not use the dremel like this seller shows. Of course it may be needed for a BMW.
Take pictures if you tackle this so we can all see.

W212 headlights are sealed with a sealant called permaseal or cold glue.
It's not really affected by heat like butyl glue is. You'll have to do multiple runs in the oven to open it or use a heat gun and work your war around the channel. Heat the area (keeping the heat gun moving) and then pry the channel with a flat head screwdriver. It's time consuming but that's the way to do it
