2014 E350 4 Matic acceleration growling noise and going over a bump louder noise
41,000 miles. It’s weird it started today on the high way after I gave it a little bit of more gas going 60mph. After that I felt the engine growling when applying gas over 2,000rpm. I also felt a vibration in the steering wheel. It stopped once I parked and cane back to drive once again. But soon realized it the same issue came back. It’s coming from the right side of the engine bay. I did go over a bump and a very loud noise like something is loose was heard. It’s weird because you sometimes feel the problem is there and sometimes not. Any help would be appreciated. Please

Worst case scenario would be something with a differential. Have a trusted mechanic check the transmission mount. This was similar to what I experienced in my old W203 years ago and that was the culprit.
